Guidelines
Schloss Neubeuern´s guidelines were developed by the Board of Directors, tutors, pupils, parents, members of the Board of Trustees and alumni during the 2003/2004 academic year.
Guidelines and Principles of Schloss Neubeuern
Our society is changing more than ever. It is calling for new perspectives and for each one of us to contribute more. We do not want to face these global changes by repeatedly using short-term goals. We need to take a stand to affirm our identity and position in order to give direction. This calls for shared goals and values. The principles of “Schloss Neubeuern” — created by an equal representation working group commissioned by the Board of Trustees — are guidelines to give our actions purpose and direction both on the inside and on the outside. Our guidelines strike a balance between preserving traditional Neubeuern values and the need for change.
The Boarding and Day School "Schloss Neubeuern“
We are an independent boarding and day school for girls and boys, providing education up to the Bayerische Zentralabitur (Bavarian university entrance qualification). The best possible preparation for life and the best possible conditions in which to achieve educational goals are the purpose and substance of our work. Our girls and boys learn by having fun and being successful.
Our Goals
We want to be one of the best schools, preparing young people for a successful and international life. We have high standards of quality, which extend to all disciplines and areas. We work to achieve economic success in order to secure our continued existence and our independence. We want to promote and maintain the “Schloss Neubeuern” network as a lifelong community.
Our Values
Schloss Neubeuern stands for fundamental, ethical values. These values govern our thoughts and behaviour. They stay with us for life.
Employees and Managerial Style
Our employees and managers are our most important resource. Together, they are responsible for performance and achieving goals. They exemplify our values and convey them to others. We have a cooperative management style – working towards targets.
Our Guiding Principles
We fulfil our educational duties whilst being conscious of our responsibility for the people who have been placed in our care. We work according to a merit system and are driven by success. We act confidently and respectfully, fair and openly in all relationships. We are a trustworthy partner for parents. Communication forms the foundations for our cooperation: open, clear and direct.
