| Houses and Mentors | ||
There are 8 houses, of which 6 reside in the castle and 2 in the Trüper building. The east wing of the castle is traditionally reserved for girls. The houses are separated into boys and girls and normally span 3–4 Year groups. Between 10 and 20 boys or girls live together in a house.
The mentors live – often with their families – on the same floor as their pupils and are there for them 24 hours a day. They are also the most important contacts for parents and are always up to date on the academic and personal development of their pupils. |

| Accommodation | ||||||||||
There are 62 rooms in the castle and 14 in the Trüper building in total. Some rooms have washbasins and a few have a shower or lavatory. The allocation of rooms depends on the respective composition of pupils.
The current situation is:
In every house, there is at least one communal bathroom, which in all cases has individual showers. There is also a common room for each house, typically with a kitchen corner, in which there is also a flatscreen-television. This is where the pupils get together to chat, play, watch TV or cook. At the end of every school year, the pupils then have the opportunity to choose their houses, rooms and room mates for the next academic year. The most coveted rooms are allocated according to seniority and merit. |

| Coffee Corner |
| In our cosy Coffee Corner, located in the East wing of the castle, is where our students meet three times per week in the evenings after the Study period, as well as on the weekends, to have relaxed conversation over small snacks and warm drinks. The Coffee Corner is run by an engaged student team, as is the adjacent Media room, where films and Football matches are shown along with small concerts from students or teachers. |
| Diskothek |
| An exclusive Disco has not been allowed to slip through the cracks --- every Saturday, on school weekends, our small, but professionally equipped, Nightclub opens its doors for our dance enthusiastic students. As with the Café, the Disco is well managed by a team of engaged students. |
