Scholarships
In accordance with the aims of our foundation, Schloss Neubeuern endeavours to support pupils whose parents are only partially able to carry the associated costs to attend the school. Usually, the maximum amount of a scholarship is 50% of the respective boarding school fees.

In addition to the basic prerequisite (namely that it would not be possible to attend Schloss Neubeuern without a scholarship), scholarship applicants should be particularly worthy of a scholarship. The definition of worthiness goes far beyond academic performance and relates to the person as a whole. The scholarship holders that we are looking for should have multi-faceted and interesting personalities and be not only capable of performing but also eager to perform. They should have, in addition to academic potential, preferably many diverse aptitudes and interests in sports, music and art. They should also take an interest in their fellow pupils and take responsibility for them.

A board makes the decision on the incoming scholarship applications, which must be accompanied by appropriate proof of income. Currently, approximately 20% of our boarders receive scholarships of 10% to 50% of the fees.

We endeavour to expand our resources for awarding scholarships in close collaboration with our alumni association.
