Plus-STEM
+ Plus potential development + Plus personal development + Plus research & discovery
What is Plus-STEM actually?
- STEM stands for science (natural sciences), technology, engineering (computer science), and mathematics – and is the proverbial symbiosis of all four areas.
- Plus-STEM discovers and promotes the special talents of pupils (from year 10) – with lots of fun and experimentation: for example, participation in competitions such as “Jugend forscht”.
- Plus-STEM helps you as a pupil to develop your interests & talents.
- Plus-STEM involves learning, researching and experimenting in small groups – so you can concentrate much better on subjects such as physics, computer science and chemistry.
- In the Plus-STEM-programme, you are among like-minded people who are enthusiastic about STEM subjects – this enthusiasm is contagious.
- Plus-STEM starts from Year 10 and ends with the Abitur. However, you can apply for it as early as the 9th grade.
- Your parents can apply for full funding for our school and boarding school fees (including the Plus-STEM-programme) under the Federal Government’s Bafög programme.
Who is Plus-STEM suitable for?
For you, of course!
-
- Plus-STEM is a great programme for all students from the 10th grade onwards, who want to develop their scientific talent.
- Plus-STEM is aimed at students from all over the world, who would like to live and learn in our boarding school, naturally in their “own castle”.
- You can apply for our Plus-STEM programme as early as year 9. It starts in year 10 and ends with your A-levels.
- We are happy to support you with applying for your Bafög grant.
Where does Plus-STEM take place?
The Plus-STEM-programme takes place in our modern STEM centre. Here you can learn, research and experiment to your heart’s content with highly advanced laboratory equipment.

Admission and application
Who can apply?
Students who are currently in the 9th grade of a grammar school can apply for the Plus-STEM support programme. The prerequisites for this are your particular interest in maths, computer science or natural sciences. Ideally, you should already have good grades or success in competitions.
Fees
The school and boarding school fees for Plus-STEM students can be financed via BAföG (state grant). Get advice on this from Moritz Morsch.
