White Dinner
28.07.2026
The ‘White Dinner’ has become a much-loved tradition at Neubeuern Castle. On the last evening of the school year, all boarding school groups gather in the chapel to reflect on the school year they have spent together. To honour this moment and emphasise the sense of community once again, all pupils and their mentors dress in white for the occasion.
On Tuesday 28 July, the time had come once more, and this year too there was a symbolic twist. A few pupils handed out pieces of paper and pens, inviting everyone to reflect on two big, meaningful questions: “What was your personal highlight of the year – and what do you prefer not to remember?”
Everyone answered these questions for themselves and wrote their answers on a piece of paper.
As they left, the highlights were collected at the fountain railing and the less pleasant memories were burnt in a fire bowl. This allowed everyone to bid a peaceful farewell to the past school year and look forward to the coming one with open hearts.
Let’s all do it together one more time!
Afterwards, everyone sat down together for one final dinner at a long, colourfully laid table. The summery setting against the backdrop of the Inn Valley panorama made this final hour together a lovely memory that everyone can take with them into the holidays.
